Huldah Hunnicutt was born in January 1699 in Prince George, Prince George, Colony of Virginia, When she was born it was under British Rule. She is the daughter of Robert Hunnicutt and Margaret Wyke of Prince George VA[1]
Her father, Robert, was 23, and her mother, Margaret, was 24 when Huldah married Francis Newby on December 7, 1723, in Henrico Towne, Henrico County, Colony of Virginia. They had one child during their marriage. (note: had six ch) She died as a young mother in 1734 in Perquimans, North Carolina, at the age of 34.[2][3]
also raised Francis Jones* s/o Arthur Jones, orphan, made ward of her husband in 1725. [5]
Her husband did not remarry after her untimely death.
