Marie Azelie "Zelime" Hulin, daughter of Louis Hulin and Marie Josephe Champagne, was born c.1804 in southwest Louisiana. Estimating her ("minor") age by the dates of her siblings, she was probably about 17 when she married Louis Pomier there in 1821.[1]

Known children of the marriage:
  1. Marie Azelie Pomier (1822)[2]
  2. Marie Zelina Pomier (1833)[3]
  3. Lucien Pomier (1839)[4]

By 1850 she was a widow. She and 12 year old Lucien were living with her daughter Zelina and son-in-law Bernard Romero in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[5]
