Biography

Anna Maria Hughes was born on 14 October 1854 in Metcalfe township, Middlesex county, Canada West. She was the daughter of Thomas Hughes and Margaret Lougheed.

Annie married Joseph Henry Hughes on 21 February 1883 in Metcalfe township, Middlesex county, Ontario.^[1] They had five children.

Annie passed away on 2 October 1947 at Brandon, Manitoba and was buried in Brandon Municipal Cemetery.^[2]
