Biography
Eddie engaged in farming in Clarke County, Alabama.
Eddie Eugene Huggins was born about May 11, 1905, son of Benjamin Franklin Huggins (1880–1943) and Frances Pugh (1876–1908).
Early Life
Eddie's mother, Frances, died in 1908 when Eddie was about three years old. He and his sister went to live with their grandparents.
In 1910, Eddie (5) was living in New Prospect, Clarke, Alabama, with his grandparents George N Huggins (54), Georgia Ann Huggins (43), and his sister Rilla Huggins (7). [1]
In 1920, Eddie (15) lived with his grandparents in Election Precinct 15 New Prospect, Clarke, Alabama. [2]
Marriage
Eddie (23) married Nora Lee Brown (18) on September 2, 1928 in Clarke County, Alabama; daughter of William Wrightly Brown and Beatrice Bennett).[3]
In 1940, Eddie (35, a farmer) and Nora lived in Election Precinct 15 New Prospect, Clarke, Alabama with their children, Allen (11), Fred (4), and Catherine (2 months). [4]
Eddie registered for the World War II draft. In 1950, Eddie (45) was living in Grove Hill, Clarke, Alabama, with his wife, Nora (38), and their children, Fred Leon (14), Francis C (10), and Beatrice (3). Eddie worked for the Alabama Highway Department, placing road markers.[6]
Death / Burial
Eddie died on 9 Jul 1977 (aged 72) 1977 in Clarke County, aged about 72. He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Chilton, Clarke County, Alabama.[7] [8]
