Biography

Priscilla Huckin was born at Kingham in Oxfordshire, probably in 1814. She was baptised at Kingham parish church on 4 September 1814, as the daughter of John and Elizabeth Huckin, of Kingham. Her father was described as a farmer. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

Thomas Wilks, of the parish of Tadmarton, Oxfordshire, and Priscilla Huckin, of the parish of Kingham, were married by licence at Kingham parish church on 10 April 1834. The witnesses were called William Wilks and Kizia Claridge. ^[3]

1851 census: Priscilla Wilks was living at Tadmarton in Oxfordshire with her husband Thomas and their children. Her age was given as 37, implying a birth date in 1813 or 1814. Her birthplace was given as Kingham, Oxfordshire. ^[2]
