Biography

Thomas Huckin was born at Kingham in Oxfordshire, probably in early 1820. He was baptised at Kingham parish church on 23 January 1820, as the son of John and Elizabeth Huckin, of Kingham. His father was described as a farmer. ^[1]

In 1841 he was living in Kingham, Oxfordshire. ^[2]

In 1851 Thomas had married Eliza and was an Inn Keeper. They were living in Bampton, Oxfordshire with their children. ^[3]

Thomas, Eliza and family emigrated to the United States and were living in Indiana in the 1870 and 1880 census records. Thomas was described as a farmer. ^{[4] [5]}
