Biography

Irina was born in 1870, in Afognak Village on Afognak Island. She was the daughter of Isaac Hubley and Tatiana Nekrasov. About 1871 she moved to Unga, Alaska with her parents and they made Unga a permanent home. On 17 April 1885 Irina married Robert Ronald Gould - they had eight children: Nellie, Isaac, Elizabeth, Anna, Robert Jr., Martha, and Olive. Irina was widowed in Nov 1898. She married Andrei Pavlov Galiven 23 May 1901 - they had three sons, Peter, Andrei and Aleksii. Irina was widowed again by Oct 1906. On 2 Feb 1908, she married Ross Hanson Boye - they had two children, a daughter Rose and a son Urances.

Irina was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Gould and Andrei Galiven; her father, Isaac Hubley; her daughter Olive Gould; her sons, Andri and Aleksii Galiven; and her son Urances Boye. She passed away in 1922.
