Biography
James Hoyt was born on 4 February 1798 at Craftsbury, Vermont. He was a son of Benjamin Hoyt and Lydia Joslyn.[1][2]
James married Sally Norris on 29 December 1819 at Hardwick, Caledonia, Vermont.[3] They had about eight children. Sally died in 1833.
James married a second time, to Maria Sabin on 11 March 1834 at Craftsbury, Orleans, Vermont.[4][5] They had about ten children.
He passed away in 1883.
