Biography
Ariel was born in 1844. She passed away in 1918. She was the daughter of Ulysses Hamet Howe (1813–Deceased) and Mary Maria Ostranger (1825–1895), who married on 6 April 1846 in Wisconsin.
On 11 March 1876, Ariel married Isaac Morgan in Knox, Knox County, Illinois. They had two children:
Iris Myrtle Morgan 11 March 1878 – After 1880
Ernest Morgan 1879 – Deceased
In 1880, Ariel (age 21) lived in Oneida, Knox County, with her parents, Ulysses (age 66) and Mary (age 55), and her children: Iris Morgan (age 2) and baby Ernest Morgan. Ulysses was a blacksmith.
Ariel and Isaac divorced in 1881. On 15 Oct 1882, Ariel married widower Loren Devoe in Wayne, Lafayette County, Wisconsin. They had a son:
George Loren Devoe 24 August 1883 – 27 April 1918
On the 1910 U.S. Census, Loren said he was divorced.
