I will forward a copy of the birth and death record to the Welcome Society and let them know about the apparent error.

Edit: I have sent a message to the Welcome Society and included copies of the source docs.

Do you have a copy of the image of the birth record? Can you upload it (or a portion of it) here or at some other server or else email it?

thanks

Holme-222 and Holme-175 appear to represent the same person because: The Quaker family list provides all of the children of Thomas and Sarah Holme. There is no Michael, but there is a William, who was born in Ireland and died in Philadelphia. All of this suggests that the source you are citing (www.welcomesociety.org), got the name wrong, and that a child named Michael was actually named William.
