The Baptist Church of Christ at Cane Springs on the waters of Muddy Creek in Madison County, Kentucky was constituted 24 of August 1803. It was named Old Cane Springs at some point. [1]
In the Old Cane Spring Minute book in the Eastern Kentucky University archive collection, the following is found:
September first Saturday 1810, the Cane Spring Church of Christ met in order: Sister Fany [sic] Hubert joined the church by recommendation.
Then a few years later:
April 1st Saturday 1814 the Cain Spring Church of Christ met in order: Br. Thomas and Richard Hubbart dismist by letter. Sisters Fanny and Molly Hubbart dismist by letter.
