Biography

Martin Dale Hollinger was born on December 10, 1892^[1], in Garrett, Indiana, his father, Martin, was 24 and his mother, Cora, was 20.

In the 1900 census Martin (age 7) was the son of Martin W Hollmger in Keyser, De Kalb, Indiana. ^[2]

In the 1910 census Dale (age 17) was the single son of Martin W Hollinger in Garrett Ward 2, DeKalb, Indiana. ^[3]

He married Grace Lucille Rex on June 14, 1916^[4], in Huron, Ohio. They had four children during their marriage.

In the 1920 census Martin (age 27), Auto Repair, was the married head of household in Shelby, Richland, Ohio. ^[5]

In the 1930 census Martin (age 38), Machinist, was the married head of household at 40 Broadway, Shelby, Richland, Ohio. ^[6]

In the 1940 census Martin (age 47), Proprietor, was the married head of household in Shelby, Richland, Ohio. ^[7]

He died on July 23, 1947, in Shelby, Ohio, at the age of 54, and was buried^[8] there.
