Biography

Martin W Hollinger was born in October 1868, his father, George, was 36 and his mother, Catherine, was 29.

In the 1870 census Martin (age 1) was in Columbia Township, Whitley, Indiana [1]

In the 1880 census Martin (age 12), School, was the son of George W. Hollenger in Columbia Township, Whitley, Indiana. [2]

He married Cora E Brown on May 31, 1890[3], in Columbia, Indiana. They had two children during their marriage.

In the 1900 census Martin (age 31), Conductor Rr, was the married head of household in Keyser, De Kalb, Indiana. [4]

In the 1910 census Martin (age 41), Conductor, was the married head of household in Garrett Ward 2, De Kalb, Indiana. [5]

In the 1920 census Martin (age 51), Conductor, was the married head of household in New Haven, Huron, Ohio. [6]

In the 1930 census Martin (age 61), Passenger Conductor, was the married head of household at 526 Clark Street, Willard, Huron, Ohio. [7]

In the 1940 census Martin (age 71), Retired, was the married head of household in Willard, Huron, Ohio. [8]

In the 1950 census Martin (age 81) was the married head of household in Mansfield, Richland, Ohio. [9]

He died on February 12, 1951, in Mansfield, Ohio, at the age of 82, and was buried[10] in Willard, Ohio.
