Research Notes

I think I may have found part of the problem. According to an Ancestry Tree, Jonathan Reeves may have had 4 different wives and lots of children.

Found sources to hold up the multiple wives - see Jonathan Reeves (1831-1921) profile.

As for the two Rebecca's.- Which one is Edmund and Hawkins (Hall) Holland's daughter??

1) Single Rebecca can be tracked in the census with her family, parents initials E & H.(H. H.) Holland. All the kids from 1850-1880 say Dad was b. Tennessee and Mom was b. South Carolina. Have not found any other listings for parents Edmund and Hawkins Holland.

2) Married Rebecca on the 1880 census says her Dad was b. Tennessee and her Mom was b. Virginia. Have not been able to find her on any other documents so far. Searched internet and FamilySearch. No result with FamilySearch. The internet has a lot of private trees that link her to Edmund and Hawkins Holland but I believe they are wrong.

Jonathan Reeves was my Great Grandfather. Verbal family history was that he had 6 wives. Records to be update when I can research and obtain documented facts.
