James Henry Hill was born at Burnside, South Australia on 23 January 1879 to Henry Hill and Kezia Halliday (Hill). ^[1]

James Henry, age 22, was married to Blanche Slater, age 21, by the Reverend FH Stokes at the Church of the Epiphany, Crafers, South Australia on 16 October 1901 ^{[2] [3]}

James Henry died on 5 April 1966 at age 87 and was buried in the Stirling Cemetery, South Australia ^[4]
