Biography

In the 1860 census Esther Hill (age 3) was in Kassath, Yellow Spring Township, Des Moines, Iowa.[1]

In the 1870 census Ester Ann Hill (age 13) was in Yellow Springs Township, Des Moines, Iowa.[2]

Esther A Hill (age 19) married James Morgan (age 22) on 18 April 1876 in Des Moines, Iowa.[3][4]

In the 1880 census Esther Morgan (age 23), Keeps House, was the married daughter of Sarah Ann Hill in Kossuth, Des Moines, Iowa.[5]

In the 1900 census Esther Morgan (age 43) was the wife of James Morgan in Jefferson Township, Louisa, Iowa.[6]

In the 1910 census Esther A Morgan (age 53) was the wife of James Morgan in South Independence, Polk, Oregon.[7]

In the 1920 census Esther Morgan (age 61) was the wife of James Morgan in Independence, Polk, Oregon.[8]

In the 1930 census Esther A Morgan (age 73) was the wife of James Morgan in Independence, Polk, Oregon.[9]

Esther's husband, James, died on 29 March 1936 in Dallas, Oregon.[10]

In the 1940 census Esther Ann Morgan (age 83) was the widowed head of household in Independence, Polk, Oregon.[11]

Esther Ann Morgan, daughter of John Hill & Sarah Ann Haight, died (age 89) on 12 March 1946 in Dallas, Oregon.[12][13]
