Biography

Vilma Van Ollefen, 88, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and resided in Lakewood before moving to Jackson 14 years ago. Vilma was a Director of Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults at St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, where she also was a Eucharistic Minister. In addition, she was a member of Soroptimist International. Vilma was a very talented artist. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Vilma (Miklos) Heuser; by her Son, Thomas Van Ollefen in 2015; and her Husband, Stephen Glick in 2015. She is survived by her Sons, her Brother; and her Sister; her Grandchildren. Entombment in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ.
