Hezekiah Herendeen, brother of Freelove Herendeen witnessed the affidavit of John had a Revolutionary War pension in which he gave his birthdate, birthplace, 1803 as the year he went to Canandaigua, New York (he had lived there ever since that time), that he was 76 years old the 20th of August 1833, and Hezekiah Herendeen, who was serving as deponent, witnessed that John married his sister as his first wife (Freelove's father and brother were named Hezekiah).
