Biography
Grace was born about 1884 in Halifax, Halifax County, Nova Scotia to George Heisler and Elizabeth (Unknown). Her Father is recorded as a Merchant in Halifax on the marriage registration.
On February 1, 1905 at the age of 21 in Halifax and by Baptist Lisence, Grace married Wellesley Harrington Hubley. Witnesses to the wedding included Blanche Steeves and Mrs. Covey with the ceremony conducted by the Reverend A.J. Vincent.
They made their home at the 14 Mile House, St. Margaret's Bay Rd., Halifax County. They had two children, George and Doris.
They divorced December 1909.
I am researching that Grace's middle name was O'Connell. Recorded as O'C. in the marriage registration to Wellesley Hubley in 1905.
