Birth

Heinrich William Heisler, known as Henry in the United States, was born on 14 February 1768 in the Netherlands to Johann Kuhns Heisler (1733-1783) and Catharina Joechlin (c.1740-1843).

Marriage and Family

He married Catherine Elizabeth Weiand (1772-1843) on 16 October 1790 in Pennsylvania, United States. According to family members there were10-15 children born to them.

Known Children of the Heisler-Weiand Marriage

  1. Mary Magdalena Heisler was born on 1 August 1793 in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. She married Jacob Feltenberger (1784-1852) on 18 February 1810 in Jefferson County, Ohio. Mary died on 22 May 1853 in Annapolis, Jefferson, Ohio, United States.
  2. Frederick S. Heisler was born on 16 April 1799 in West Cameron, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, United States. He married Elizabeth Steffy (1808-1873) on 1 November 1825 in Jefferson County, Ohio. Frederick died on 11 November 1849 in Annapolis, Jefferson, Ohio, United States.
  3. Christiana Heisler was born on 5 August 1801 in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. She married George Wagner on 29 March 1821 in Harrison County, Ohio. Christena, as she was known, died on 17 February 1868 in Bishopville, Morgan, Ohio, United States.
  4. John Thomas Heisler was born on 6 July 1806 in Harrison County, Ohio, United States. He married Anna Maria Blair (1809-1865) on 13 April 1826 in Harrison County, Ohio. John died on 11 January 1861 in Harrison County, Ohio, United States.
