Birth

Frederick S. Heisler was born on 16 April 1799 in West Cameron Township, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, United States to Henry Heisler (1768-1834) and Catherine Elizabeth Weiant (1772-1843).[1]

Marriage and Family

He married Elizabeth Steffy (1808-1873) on 1 November 1825 in Jefferson County, Ohio.

All children were born in Ohio, United States.
  1. Henry William Heisler was born on 16 September 1826. He married 1) Margaret Anna Abel (1824-1880) on 1 March 1855 in Harrison County, Ohio and 2) Elizabeth Maynard (1843-1932) on 7 January 1861 in Monona County, Iowa. Henry died on 11 November 1891 in Monona County, Iowa, United States.
  2. Solomon Heisler was born on 20 October 1827. He married Catharine Benedict (1836-1900) on 17 November 1853 in Harrison County, Ohio. Solomon died on 30 April 1898 in Goodland, Sherman, Kansas, United States.
  3. George Frederick Heisler was born on 16 April 1828. He married Mary Frances Shepherd (1842-1906) in 1861. George died on 31 December 1905 in Mills County, Iowa, United States.
  4. Catherine Elizabeth Heisler was born in 1830. She married William Y. Turner (1827-1908) in 1849 in Jefferson County, Ohio. Catherine died in October 1892 in Jamestown, Boulder, Colorado, United States.
  5. John Adams Heisler was born on 2 February 1832. He married Clarissa Wilsey (1846-1897) on 16 June 1861. John died on 17 July 1913 in Mapleton, Monona, Iowa, United States.
  6. Samuel Delbert Heisler was born on 2 October 1833. He married Mary Merrill (1845-1884) c. 1864. Samuel Died on 4 July 1907 in Monona County, Iowa, United States.
  7. Rachel Heisler was born c. 1835.
  8. Susanna Heisler was born c. 1837.
  9. Elizabeth Heisler was born c. 1839. She married William Smith.
  10. Nancy J. Heisler was born on 13 February 1840. She married William A. Day (1820-1893) c. 1858. Nancy died on 2 February 1867.
  11. Charlotte J. Heisler was born on 22 December 1842. She married William A. Day (1820-1893) as his second wife on 16 December 1867 in Jasper County, Iowa after the death of her sister who was his first wife. Charlotte died on 17 September 1891 in Jasper County, Iowa, United States.
  12. David Heisler was born on 31 December 1844. He died on 13 June 1859 in Harrison County, Ohio, United States.
  13. Sarah Heisler was born c.1846.
  14. Harriet Heisler, twin, was born on 12 April 1850 in German, Harrison, Ohio, United States. She died on 17 August 1850 in the same place.
  15. Rose Ann Heisler, twin, was born on 12 April 1850 in German, Harrison, Ohio, United States. She died in 1850 in the same place.

Last Will and Testament

He wrote his will on 2 October 1849 in Harrison County, Ohio, United States in the township of German, Harrison, Ohio. Henry signed with his mark.

He mentions his wife and children were Henry, Solomon, Frederick, Catharine (Turner), John, Samuel, Rachel, Susannah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Charlotte, David, and Sarah and whatever other living child of mine may be born after the date of this will... In fact his wife gave birth to twin girls, Harriet and Rose Ann after his death in April 1850. They died immediately.

Death and Burial

Frederick died of consumption on 11 November 1849 in Annapolis, Jefferson, Ohio, United States at the age of 50. He was buried in the Annapolis Lutheran Cemetery, Annapolis, Jefferson, Ohio. Find A Grave: Memorial #92959187
