Thomas A. Hefner
PARKVILLE Thomas A. Hefner of Parkville died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997 at Genesis Eldercare The Pines, Easton. He was 91. Born Dec. 31, 1905 in Rasburg, Md., he was the son of the late Fred and Susan Comes Hefner. During his lifetime, Mr. Hefner owned a barbershop, was a painter, and was a Baltimore County policeman, retiring after 30 years of distinguished service.
He was married for 56 years to the former Kathryn Sara Polley. Mr. Hefner is survived by a brother and three sisters and four daughters; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Three brothers, John, Henry, and Joseph Hefner, are deceased. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, Parkville. Burial will be at Garden of Faith in Baltimore County. Arrangements by Evans Funeral Home, Parkville.[1]
