David Allison "Al" Hazlett was born on October 9, 1947, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Althea Sinclair and Irvine Hazlett , his father, Irvine, was 23 and his mother, Althea, was 21. He had one son. He died on July 9, 2014, in his hometown at the age of 66.

HAZLETT, DAVID ALLISON “AL” - The passing of David Allison “Al” Hazlett of Fredericton occurred at home on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the age of 66. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Irvine and Althea (Sinclair) Hazlett. He was a self-employed painter. Al really enjoyed playing Pool and was a dedicated member of the Monday Night Pool League. In his younger years, he was an avid hockey and baseball player. Al is survived by a son Craig (Michelle) and a grandson Brendon both of Fredericton; brothers, Arthur (Wanda), Clair (Donna) and Darrell all of Fredericton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his step-father and mother, Alphonse Perry and Althea Perry and his father Irvine Hazlett.
