I was born in Carpentras and grew up in the département of Vaucluse, France. I now live in the region of Dauphiné, close to Vercors. My mother's side roots are all in Ardèche, and on my father's side I have roots in Dordogne, Normandy (Seine-Maritime) and the North (Pas-de-Calais, Picardy.) I have not yet found any ancestors from outside of France.
In the event of my death, or prolonged absence from WikiTree for more than six months, I hereby request that all profiles for deceased persons managed by me, including my own in the event of my death, are made open.

We've put together a survey for you to fill out to check in with you, it will only take a moment as there are only a few questions. Filling out the survey lets us know you are still interested in coordinating your study and provides an opportunity for you to share any suggestions you may have for the project.
If you have decided to step away from your study, please reply to this comment to that effect.

You and I are currently 39 degrees apart, through Louise de Marle (17 degrees from you) and Amable Lalonde (27 degrees from you) who connects me to Celine Dion (Dion-75, 29 degrees from you and 23 degrees from me).

I just completed my connection to Louise de Marle through the d'Amanzé family, I was happy to see it made me closer to a lot of French Canadian profiles. Nice to know it also shorten my connection to people on the other side of the world!
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
I’m going to suggest that the France project might fit your current research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.
Please take your time. Accuracy is so much more important than speed on WikiTree. And please add locations, dates, and at least one reliable source to each profile, particularly any pre-1700s profile, before you leave it. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).
Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.

A bientôt,
