Theresa was born in 1903 and was named after her mother and grandmother. Theresa nickname was Tricks or maybe spelled Trix. She was the first one in her extended family to graduated from high school. It was a big thing back then. She was a very skilled designer dressmaker and she didn`t need patterns. Theresa worked three years with no pay and then three years for $3.00 a week to be a designer and seamstress. She made lots of dresses on the sewing machine for other people. That was in the year 1918 when she worked for two sisters who had the highest trade in Youngstown at that time. In the twenty's Theresa had her own business in Youngstown.
