Biography

Joshua Haley was the first child of Joshua Haley and Rebecca Brown of Stonington, Connecticut. His birth date is not certain; it was published as Sept. 5, 1822 in the Brown Genealogy (1907), however his grave memorial presents the year as 1823.

He married Matilda A. Williams, with whom he had 2 children:

1. Matilda Haley Wilcox, 1854-1934
2. George Williams Haley, 1869-1924
