Biography
Betty was born about 1786, estimated from age at death.
She married William Wood on 21 April 1806 at Huddersfield.[1]
Betty died on 2 October 1826 and was buried at Pole Moor Baptist Chapel, Scammonden. Her gravestone reads: "In Memory of Betty wife of William Wood of Maulshead Longwood who died October 2nd 1826 aged 40 years. Also of the above named William Wood who died August 10th 1855 aged 72 years."[2]
