Biography

Turner Richardson Haden Jr. was born 13 Aug 1808 in Georgetown, Scott County, Kentucky. He was the son of Turner Richardson Haden and Rebecca Cave. As a young man he moved to Columbia, Boone County, Missouri. On 7 Sept 1826 he first married Louisa Cave (b. Abt. 1800 KY – d. Oct 1846 MO; parents’ unknown, possible relation to his mother?). No children are known to have been born of this marriage. After Louisa died in 1846, Turner re-married on 28 Oct 1847 in Callaway County, Missouri to Sara Ann “Sally” Lloyd (b. 26 Nov 1822 KY – d. 12 Dec 1895 MO; daughter of Isaac Lloyd b. 23 Mar 1794 Rowan Co, NO – d. 18 Oct 1855 Callaway Co, MO and Rebecca Jane Barnes b. 18 May 1800 Madison, KY – d. 29 Oct 1870 Callaway Co, MO). Turner and Sally had six daughters and three sons:

Both Turner and Sally lived in Callaway, Boone County, Missouri the remainder of their lives. Turner passed away on 16 Dec 1878 at the age of 70. Sally died on 12 Dec 1895 at the age of 73. They are both buried at the Antioch Cemetery in Boone County, Missouri.
