Raymond L. Hadden was born on 21 Dec 1926 in Buck Run, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States, son of Isaac McCullough Hadden (1883–1974) and Alice (Lydick) Hadden (1887–1982).

Obituary

Raymond L. "Haddie" "Uncle Son" Hadden, 88, of Kittanning, went home to the Lord on Monday, May 11, 2015, at Erdley's Sunnyside Personal Care Home. He was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Cherryhill Township "Buck Run," Indiana County. Raymond was the son of Isaac McCullough Hadden and Alice Mae (Lydick) Hadden. Raymond graduated from Clymer High School. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Clymer. After Raymond's discharge from the Army following World War II, he moved to Kittanning. He worked 35 years for the Agway Fertilizer Plant in Kittanning. Raymond was seen at Dizzy Lizzy's each morning on his way to work at Agway and for many years following his retirement. Raymond always enjoyed the family picnics on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Raymond will be remembered and greatly missed by his sister, Thelma Longwell, of Elderton; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. His nephew, Jerry Longwell and wife, Pat, were his caregivers for the past several years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four sisters, Edna Weaver, Nova Siverd, Helen McCoy and Genave Hadden; and his two brothers, Herman Hadden and Torrance Hadden. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the SNYDER CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA 16201. Raymond's visitation and funeral service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015, back in the general area of Indiana County, where he had spent his youth. His visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the RAIRIGH FUNERAL HOME LTD., 18944 Route 286 Highway East, Hillsdale, PA 15746, where a funeral service will be held at noon with Raymond's great-nephew, Eric Longwell, officiating. Burial will be at the Harmony Cemetery, Penn Run.^[2]
