Helen Hadden was born on 8 Dec 1910 in Cherryhill Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Isaac McCullough Hadden (1883–1974) and Alice (Lydick) Hadden (1887–1982).

Helen died on 10 Nov 2003 in Commodore, Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 92.[1] She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Helen married Weldon Ray McCoy (born on 7 Sep 1906 in Green Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, USA; son of Calvin Warren McCoy and Zella S. (Decker) McCoy) on 22 Feb 1930 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, USA.

Obituary

Helen McCoy, 92, of Cookport, died Mon., Nov. 10, 2003 at the Indiana Regional medical Center. She was born Dec. 8, 1910 in Cherryhill Township, Indiana County, the daughter of Isaac M. & Alice M. (Lydick) Hadden. She was a member of the Cookport Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and was a member of the Ladies Missionary Circle. She married her late husband, Weldon R. McCoy, on Feb. 22, 1930. Mrs. McCoy is survived by six children: Althea L. Roadhouse; Lois N. Berringer; Phyllis J. Berkey and husband Harry; Winifred R. Rowley; William K. McCoy and wife Frances G. (Donahey) and Marvin R. McCoy and wife Janine (McDonnell); 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Longwell and one brother, Raymond Hadden. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of more than 70 years on Dec. 16, 2001; a daughter, Patricia Stumpf; a son, David McCoy; three sons-in-law: Robert Roadhouse, Ivan Berringer & William Rowley; three sisters: Nova Siverd, Edna Weaver and Genavee Hadden; two brothers: Torrance & Herman Hadden. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.[2]
