Biography
Genevieve was born 15 January 1759, daughter of Jean Baptiste Dion and Marie Geneviève Morrisette. [1]
She married Pierre Lepage, son of Pierre Lepage and Veronique on 30 August 1779, at Cap-Saint-Ignace. [2]
She passed away on 16 June 1826. [3]
Marie Genevieve was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Dion and Marie Genevieve Mauricet. She was born 15 Jan 1759 and baptized 21 Jan 1759 in L'Islet-sur-Mer. Her godparents were François Dion and Marie Françoise Caron, no signatures. [4]
On 30 Aug 1779, in Cap-St-Ignace, Pierre Lepage son of Pierre Lepage and Veronique Hedwidge Rioux married Marie Genevieve Dyon daughter of Jean Baptiste Dyon and the late Marie Genevieve Morricet. Witnesses included both fathers as well as the groom's mother and the bride's paternal grandfather Joseph Guion. The groom signed along with a few others. [5]
