Biography
Leoluca Gutera, son of Vincenzo Gutera and Maria di Miceli, is born on 30 December 1848 in Corleone.[1]
Leoluca is 22 when he marries Margherita Pecoraro, daughter of the late Paolino Pecoraro and the living Giuseppa Damiano, on 20 February 1871 in Corleone. His father is still living and his mother has passed.[2]
Leoluca and Margherita have at least one child, Vincenzo (1872), named after his paternal grandfather.
Vincenzo is born and baptized on 21 April 1872 in Corleone. His godparents are Liborio Lisotta and Gaetana Pecoraro.[3]
In 1893, Margherita and Vincenzo emigrate together to New Orleans.
