Marie Guillemet was born on 31 May 1678 and baptized the following day in Saint-Jean, Île d'Orléans, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Nicolas Guillemet and Marie Selle. Baptism registered in Sainte-Famille, Île d'Orléans. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Philippe Pasquier and Marie Campeau wife of Mathurin Dubé. The officiating priest was Charles Amador Martin.[1][2]

Marguerite Darragon, born 18 Jan 1702, Montréal (also all subsequent children côte St-Laurent cited as residence in many). Her first marriage was with François Malboeuf in January 1724 or prior? Their first child is born 4 Oct 1724, (named Madeleine) baptized on the 24th in Champlain, and she is there listed as Marguerite Lafrance. All subsequent records for her list her as Madeleine Lafrance. Subsequent marriages to Guillaume Vacher dit Lacerte and Louis Moreau are the same.

Death and Burial Marie Guillemet, wife of François Daragon dit Lafrance, passed away being given the age of around 50 years on the record. Her burial was on 11 June 1726 in Notre-Dame de Montréal.[5][6][4]
Note: some records list her name as Guillemin rather than Guillemet
