Marie Rose, fille de Antoine GUIBEAU /GUILBAULT dit GRANDBOIS et de Marie Angélique BOUCHER, est née le 15 octobre 1771, et baptisée le même jour à Berthierville (Ste-Geneviève-de-Berthier). [1]

Le 8 juillet 1793, à Berthierville (Ste-Geneviève-de-Berthier), elle épouse Jacques BRISSET, fils de Jacques et de Marguerite CASAUBON DIDIER [2] Leurs enfants connus sont:

Marie Rose, daughter of Antoine GUIBEAU / GUILBAULT dit GRANDBOIS and of Marie Angelique BOUCHER, was born on the 15th day of October, 1771, and baptized the same day at Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier.[1]

On the 8th of July 1793 at Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier, she married Jacques BRISSET, son of Jacques BRISSET and Marguerite CASAUBON DIDIER. ref name=mariage/> Their known children[5]:

  1. Jacques "Jocko" Brisset, n. 5 April 1794, who married Marie Pagé on Feb 13, 1816 at St-Cuthbert (Berthier)
  2. Marie Rose Brisset, n. 29 April 1795
  3. Antoine Brisset, n. 30 April 1796, who married Julie Sylvestre on Feb 16, 1819 at L'Île-Dupas
  4. Joseph Brisset, 8 Aug 1798, who married Marie Anne Laberge on Oct 14, 1828. He passed away July 1, 1832 at L'Île-Dupas.
  5. Alexis Brisset, n. 17 March 1801, who married Sophie Plante on Oct 26, 1824 at L'Île-Dupas. he passed away Nov 19, 2826 at L'Île-Dupas.
  6. Cuthbert Brisset, n. 1803-09-20, who married Marie Rose COTTENOIR PREVILLE on Oct 15, 1832 at Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier
  7. Louis Cuthbert Brisset, n. 19 Nov 1806, d. 30 Nov 1807, (Died Young) (given that he died at a year old, it would make sense that Louis and Cuthbert are the same child)
  8. Jean Baptiste Amable Brisset, n. 30 Jan 1809
  9. Joseph, d. May 15, 1809 at L'Île-Dupas, (Died Young) (death record does not indicate age - may be the same individual as Jean Baptiste Amable)
  10. Louis Gonzague Brisset, n. 30 Jan 1811, who married Lucie GUILBAULT dit GRANDBOIS on Sept 21, 1830 at Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier

She died on the 13th of July 1835 and was buried two days later at L'Île-Dupas (La Visitation).[4]
