Thank you so much for adding me to trusted list on Eugenia!! This means a lot to me!
Hello Sarah,

You have been adding information concerning DNA research in Acadian profiles which is great. However, it would be greatly appreciated if that information was added in the biography, instead of the prefix, per Acadians Project guidelines. Also, the Wikitree guidelines are that the prefix is used for a name or title such as Mrs, Sir, Dr, Gov, Sgt, etc. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Name_Fields#Prefix . If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your contributions and cooperation. Gisele Cormier, Acadians Project coordinator.

Jean Brideau is my 7th gr grandfather
A Correction/addition to my previous message:

"Haste makes waste: as the old saying goes. The first common ancestor we found for Sarah (Freeman) Sonn and Jeannette (Martin) Saladino is Louis Brideau. Louis is my 4th Great Grandfather. His father, Hilaire, is my 5th Great Grandfather. Jean Brideau/Bridault is still my 6th Great Grandfather; but, I am not sure if he is directly related to you.

Sincerely,

Jeannette (Martin-Brideau) Saladino

Hi Sarah:

Sarah and Jeannette are fifth cousins once removed according to WikiTree and I agree! Our mutual 6th Great Grandfather, Jean Brideau, is our connection.

Sincerely,

Jeannette (Martin-Brideau) Saladino

Sarah and Don are 8th cousins twice removed - glad to see you both on Wiki Tree and 23 and Me!

Thank you, Sarah, for volunteering to help grow our worldwide family tree by adding your branches. The more documents and sources you can provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches will be.

These are some of my favorite websites for documentation and sourcing.

This is a more exhaustive, WikiTree established, international list of research sources.

I hope your experience as a member of the WikiTree community will be very pleasant and productive.

Hi, Have been looking for ancestors for about ten years. The Desrosier Lafreniere from Quebec, Litno/Letourneau New York, Vermont and Mass. and Landry, Collins from Gloucester New Brunswick,(just recently found connection to gr grandmother Landry/Collins. took forever to break that wall. Have one more wall to go. Litno/Letourneau. Found record for gr grands married in Palmer Mass c1856. Father listed as Anthony Liteno. A genealogy search done by Letourneau side in Canada found father as Ambroise. Would really like to solve this one.
