Biagia Grizzaffi is born 17 November 1898 and baptized five days later, named afer her paternal grandmother. She is the daughter of Filippo Grizzaffi and Maria Giovanna Liggio. Her godmother is Lucia Macaluso, who is unmarried.[1]
There is a note in the margin of Biagia's baptismal record that she marries in New York at the chiesa Sant'Anna on 11 December 1921 to Giuseppe Mancuso.[1] There is a matching note on Giuseppe's baptismal record, except that his says they marry in August.[2]
