1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Elizabeth was living at 6 Belmont Street, St Pancras, Middlesex with her parents George and Anne, and step-siblings from her father's first marriage David and Louisa shown as Laura, and also her siblings Annie, John, Mary and Henry.[2]
1881 Census on the 3rd April 1881 Elizabeth was living at 38 Crogsland Road, St Pancras, Middlesex with her parents George and Anne, and her siblings Annie, John, Mary, Henry and Sydney.[3], [4] The family members were:
- head George Grimmette, age 62, London Missionary, born in Charlbury, Oxfordshire
- wife Annie Grimmette, age 54, born in Earles Colne, Essex
- daughter Annie Grimmette, age 21, civil service telegraph clerk, born in St Pancras
- son John E Grimmette, age 19, clerk, born in St Pancras
- daughter Mary J Grimmette, age 17, dressmaker, born in St Pancras,
- son Henry E Grimmette, age 13, born in St Pancras
- daughter Elizabeth Grimmette, age 11, born in St Pancras
- son Sidney Grimmette, age 8, born in St Pancras
1891 Census on the 5th April 1891 the family was living at 10 Gaisford Street, St Pancras, Middlesex with her parents George and Anne, and her sister Annie.[5], [6] Living with George and Annie were young Annie (age 30, telegraph clerk) and Elizabeth (21, music teacher). Also staying in the house was an oil painter named Alexander Chisholm (68).
On 19 April 1897 she married Alfred Henry Gerrard at the Wesleyan Chapel on Prince of Wales Road, Haverstock Hill, London. [7]
The family was living on Merton Road, Wimbledon, Surrey when the 1901 census took place. [8]

According to Gerrards of Wessex[9], they had two children:
Gwendoline Gerrard, born in 1900; she married Eric Grant in 1921 and had two children
Paul Gerrard, born in 1902; he married Alice Balfour in 1927, with whom he had one child, but then married again in 1945 and had two further children with Mollie Bernacchi
Elizabeth died in 1956.
