James was born at Maitland in 1834. He is the son of John Grills and Rebecca Perry. [1]
He was christened on February 28, 1836 at West Maitland. [2]
He married Alice Louisa Emily Bridge at East Maitland in 1881. [3]
They had 5 children.
He passed away at Morpeth in 1892. [4]
He was buried at Campbells Hill Cemetery.
