Thanks for joining us! I’m Cindy, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?

Greene-6065 and Greene-5632 appear to represent the same person because: Hi Ian, Welcome to WikiTree! I assume these two profiles both represent you. You and I are 2nd cousins. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Hi Ian,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week so I am checking in to see how it is going. The New Member How-Tos are for you to work at your own pace. If you had time to look, were they helpful?

I'm here to help with questions about how WikiTree works. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

Misty ~ WikiGreeter

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when clicking WikiTree email links, you can often find a working version in the public comments on your profile.

PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.

Hi Ian —

You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree community and can start adding your family.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members. See the links at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:New_Member_How-To

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Cheers, Liz

P.S. If you get a "Page Not Found" error when you click a link in a WikiTree e-mail, you can usually find a functioning link in the public comments section of your profile page.

Hi Ian,

Our Tags and Comments help you connect with other genealogists. That's why the more information that you enter about your genealogical interests, the better it is for all of us :-)

If you're still interested in volunteering with WikiTree, would you please provide some more information in your Tags and Comments section about the surnames, locations, or moments in history which interest you? Follow this link to get to your tag(s): https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following

If you'll also leave a message on my profile when you've made the changes, I'll be notified that you've adjusted your tag(s). Just click my name just above this box, then leave a public comment in the right column.

Thanks,

Misty ~ WikiGreeter
