Biography

Stella Harriet was born in September 30, 1881. She was the daughter of Aurelius Gray and Ella Albright.

When Stella was 23 years old, 30 August 1905^[1] she married Charles Wesley Laman age 23, son of John William Laman and Elizabeth Ann Brewer, also of Independence County.

In the 1910 census Stella age 28 is listed with Charles age 31head of household in Cave, Sharp, Arkansas, United States, listed with ^[2]

Aurelius William died 11 Dec 1911 age 3 from choking on a peanut.^[3]

Charles was a farmer and they owned their farm free and clear. He and Stella could read and write and she was a teacher of elocution.

In the 1920 census Charles (age 40), Merchant, was the married head of household in Cave, Sharp, Arkansas, listed with.^[4]
