Gerard Granger was born on June 16, 1816 in St. Martin, Louisiana, United States, son of Charles Auguste Granger (1789–1851) and Constance Mire (1781–1818). [1] Gerard married Pelagie Broussard in 1838. [2] [3] Their known children were:
