Marie Louise Goureau was born and baptized on 19 April 1675 in Notre-Dame de Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Guillaume Goureau dit Lagaillardise and Marie Péchina. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Jean Picard and Louise Manse, wife of Jean Levrar. The officiating priest was Pierre Paul Gagnon and Henri de Bernières wrote the record. [1]
Marriage
Louis Hayot married Marie Louise Goureau, daughter of Guillaume Goureau dit Lagaillardise and of Marie Péchina, on 22 November 1693 in Lotbinière, by contract done under private seal by Guillaume de Nevers, which was later deposited with notary Jacques Dehorné de La Neuville.[2]
