Ann Gould married Louis Michel Hyppolite Theriault on 10 October 1816 in Havre-aux-Maisons, Isles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada. [4]

The grandparents of Ann Gould were unknown until Dec 31, 2015. They are now well described in [5]

An well-researched article [6] has recently been published (in 2018) in the Connecticut Nutmegger by Jan Barber that describes Sophie Payne (the mother of Ann Gould) her two families and her ancestors back to Connecticut. This article is being republished (with permission) on the web in [7]

Paul Delaney [8] has also contributed much of the information about the ancestors and descendants of James Gould Jr. his wife Sophie Payne and their daughter, Anne Gould.

It should also be noted that Janine Ruth Barber, Paul Delaney and Yvette Richard (the wife of David Cole) are all descendants of James Gould Jr. and his wife Sophie Payne.
