John, the third son and third of twelve children of John Goodell (alias Goodale) and Mary Bugbee was born on 25 November 1735 at Woodstock, Connecticut.[1]
American Revolutionary War Service
Private John Goodell served with 11th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.
Private John Goodell served with Col. Job Cushing's Regiment of Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
John Goodell (alias Goodale) served as a Private in the American Revolutionary War with the 11th Regiment from Woodstock, Connecticut, Capt. Frissell's Company, detached to serve in Continental Service 10 March 1778 with Cushing's Massachusetts Regiment of Militia.[2][3]
Marriage and Children
John was married twice. He married 1) Mary Warner, the daughter of John and Mary (Truesdell) Warner on 7 December 1763 at Scotland, Connecticut.[4]They had nine children:

John married 2) Chloe Perrin on 26 December 1782 at Woodstock, Connecticut. They had two children:
