Ethel (32) and Patrick Conway Bourke (30) were married on 15 May 1915 in Queensland ^[2]. Patrick was born on 20 February 1885 in Colony of Queensland. He was the son of Patrick Bonaventure Conway Bourke and Catherine (Ahern) Bourke.

Ethel died on 14 October 1954 in Brandon, Queensland, Australia, aged about 71. She was buried in Ayr Cemetery, Ayr, Burdekin Shire, Queensland, Australia (plot: Grave 2454).^{[3] [4]}
