Biography
Salome Ging married her first husband Hans Jacob Muery, in Schinznacht, Aargau, Switzerland on May 18, 1868. They were both born in that town and so were their first six children. They had eight children: Samuel Muery, Johannes "John" Muery, Jacob Muery, Arnold Muery, Elizabeth Muery, Verena Barbara Muery, Minna Sophia Muery and Albert Muery. Their last two children were born in Texas.
Hans Jacob Muery died in Travis County, Texas in 1891 and is buried there in a location unknown to the family.
She married second husband Jacob Schneider in Texas in 1892. They were divorced and had no children.
Saloma married John E Christoffers on 1 December 1898 in Williamson, Texas, United States.[1]
Sallma Christoffer died of lobar pneumonia on January 9, 1924 in Sanger, California, according to family records.
