Biography

Henry Gilliam was born about 1806.

He married Fannie Shaw, 28 Jul 1827, in Wilson, Tennessee. She is the daughter of Jeremiah Shaw and Hicksey Kemp.^[1][2]

Fannie Shaw Gilliam died before 1855 when she is identified as the deceased daughter of Jeremiah Shaw as part of his estate settlement. His heirs are listed between 1857-1859 in the Wilson, Tennessee transcribed Powers of Attorney receipts which includes the children of deceased daughter Fannie Gilliam: John Gilliam, Ann Eliza Davis and husband John B Davis, and David Gilliam (see media).^[3]

The date and place of death for Henry Gilliam is not known.
