Ann was born about 1793. She was the daughter of William Gilliam and Jean Smith. She passed away before 1836.
In 1814 she married Mark Smith, the son of Isham Smith, the son of William Smith.
Ann's grandfather, William Smith, made a bequeath to Ann and her sister: "Nancy E Gilliam and Susanna Gilliam, the two, one child's part, equally divided between the two." From this we conclude that William and Jean had only two daughters.
Mark Smith served as the administrator of his father-in-law, William Gilliam.
