MILITARY
Isaac enlisted to fight in the Civil War in the Confederate Army and his military war record has two dates of enlistment with two different regiments. The 1st Enlistment Date is July 20 1862 as a private with Pindall's Sharp Shooters of Missouri, Company B with a note that he left due to sickness. The 2nd enlistment date in this record is on August 1st 1862 from Henry County, Missouri. He was enlisted as private in the Sixteenth Infantry of Missouri, Company F. [3]
DEATH
The last entry of Isaac's nine page Civil War military record shows that Isaac was killed in action at the Battle of Helena in Arkansas on July 4th 1863. [4]
