Biography

Golda was born January 16th, 1905 and died June 11th 1993. She was the daughter of James Marion Gillham (1872-1940) & Ella C. (Jones) Mullen (1882-1960).

Golda married Ellis Harvey Jones (1895-1942) on February 26th, 1921 in Galena, Stone County, Missouri. ^[1][2] The love of her life, Ellis Harvey Jones passed away too young and according to those who knew her, her heart never truly recovered.

She later married again to Elmer Alva Dennis (1900-1987), aka "Daddy E.A". He loved the grandchildren of his wife's late husband as if they were his own. His photographs will show that he always dressed to impress and was known as a fine, christian man.

She had three children with Ellis Harvey Jones (1895-1942) who were as follows: Wilma LaMoine (Jones) Lasiter (1921-2000)^[3], Wayne Delyle Jones (1929-bef.2010)^[4] & Zora Gail (Jones) Marshall (1933-1998)^[5]

Golda Gertrude Jones aka "Ma Goldie" died June 11th 1993 at Aurora Community Hospital in Aurora, Lawrence County, Missouri, USA. ^[6][7]

NOTE: The social security record states that Golda is born in 1904 instead of 1905 in error. Her death certificate and photos labeled by family members all state that she was born in 1905.
